Empowered Women

Empowered women is going to be a space where I showcase strong women and what empowers them.  By strong, I am not only speaking physically strong..this could also entail emotionally strong.  I have always had a passion for photography, and I also have a passion for helping women find what empowers them.  I realized there's a way to put them together!

"My mindset is what makes me stronger and more confident - it allows me to instill changes, transform & reflect on a daily basis. Life is all about ups and downs; it's very easy to get caught up in negativity or put yourself down. Building a strong mindset has helped me take full control of my life, make time to learn from both ups and down and bring improvements/changes. I make sure I attack everything with structure and foundation in order to know what I want and make sure I'm getting it. Sometimes I have to wait longer for what I want but patience has always yielded good results. I used to find beauty in everyone else but myself. I used to want everything because I didn't know what I really wanted or needed. Being that way led to ruining my mindset and being lost. Now I know I'm fearless and no excuses or hindrances will deter me from success. When you get rid of your uncertain ones and hindrances, the amount you can achieve is vast, and the positivity that you radiate takes you on the road towards true transcendence. I strive to make others happy and most importantly, keep myself happy at the same time."

SMALL TITLE

"Chalk up!  I'm a creature of habit. I enjoy routine to an almost superstitious level. Chalking up is methodical. It spikes my adrenaline when I feel it between my fingers.  The few seconds spent before stepping up to the bar are meant to clear my head, remind me that I've done the work, I've put in the time, and this lift is mine.  I'm chalked up, in the zone, and feeling like the strongest women in the world."

"I'm empowered by being a survivor & being a mom.  I'm empowered by my family, and friends, and those I've lost.  Having hope, and strength, and courage is what keeps me going everyday and when I feel at times that I'm at a loss or something has become too much, I think back on all that I've overcome and what others have overcome and it empowers me more than I can explain."
